នៅព្រឹកថ្ងៃអាទិត្យ ទី១៧ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ វេលាម៉ោង ១១:០០នាទី ក្រុមអ្នកសម្របសម្រួល (CLG) នៃព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា បានសម្របសម្រួលជូនក្រុមអ្នកសង្កេតការណ៍អាស៊ាន (AOT) ដឹកនាំដោយប្រធានបេសកកម្មក្រុមអ្នកសង្កេតការណ៍អាស៊ាន (HOM AOT) ដើម្បីចុះសង្កេតការណ៍ ផ្ទៀងផ្ទាត់ និងរាយការណ៍អំពីស្ថានភាពព្រំដែននៅតំបន់ភូមិជោគជ័យ ឃុំអូរបីជាន់ ស្រុកអូរជ្រៅ ខេត្តបន្ទាយមានជ័យ ដែលជាទីតាំងត្រូវបានទទួលរងការវាយប្រហារ រាយបន្លាលួស និងដាក់ពង្រាយទូកុងតឺន័រកាន់កាប់ដោយខុសច្បាប់របស់យោធាថៃ ដោយបានធ្វើឱ្យប្រជាពលរដ្ឋកម្ពុជាជាច្រើនគ្រួសារមិនទាន់អាចវិលត្រឡប់ទៅកាន់លំនៅដ្ឋានវិញបាននៅឡើយ និងធ្វើការពិនិត្យលើការគោរព និងការអនុវត្តវិធានការទាំងអស់ក្នុងសេចក្តីប្រកាសរួមក្រោយបទឈប់បាញ់ចូលជាធរមានផងដែរ។
ការចុះសង្កេតការណ៍របស់ក្រុមអ្នកសង្កេតការណ៍អាស៊ាន នៅទីតាំងដែលជាដែនអធិបតេយ្យរបស់កម្ពុជា ហើយត្រូវបានយោធាថៃកាន់កាប់ដោយខុសច្បាប់ខាងលើនេះ គូសបញ្ជាក់ពីភាពចាំបាច់ជាដាច់ខាត ក្នុងការចាប់ផ្តើមកិច្ចការវាស់វែងខ័ណ្ឌសីមាដោយគណៈកម្មការចម្រុះខ័ណ្ឌសីមាព្រំដែនគោក (JBC) កម្ពុជា-ថៃ ឱ្យបានឆាប់បំផុត ស្របតាមកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងដែលមានស្រាប់ដូចមានចែងនៅក្នុងចំនុចទីបីនៃសេចក្តីប្រកាសរួមនៃកិច្ចប្រជុំពិសេសលើកទី៣ នៃគណៈកម្មាធិការព្រំដែនទូទៅកម្ពុជា-ថៃ (GBC) ថ្ងៃទី២៧ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ ដើម្បីអនុញ្ញាតឱ្យប្រជាពលរដ្ឋយើងអាចវិលត្រលប់ទៅលំនៅដ្ឋានវិញដោយមិនមានការរារាំង ព្រមទាំងដោយសុវត្ថិភាព និងកិត្តិយស។

H.E. Lieutenant General Maly Socheata, Spokeswoman of the Ministry of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia, wishes to inform the public as well as members of national and international media as follows:
On the morning of Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM, the Cambodian Liaison Group (CLG) of the Kingdom of Cambodia coordinated a mission with the ASEAN Observer Team, led by the Head of Mission (HOM AOT). The objective was to observe, verify, and report on the border situation in Chok Chey Village, O Bei Chon Commune, O Chrov District, Banteay Meanchey Province. This specific area has been subject to incursions by the Thai military, who have laid barbed wire fences and deployed shipping containers to illegally occupy the terrain, thereby preventing numerous Cambodian families from returning to their homes. The mission also evaluated compliance with and the implementation of all measures outlined in the Joint Statement since the ceasefire came into effect.
The ASEAN Observer Team’s observation of this illegally occupied Cambodian sovereign territory underscores the absolute necessity for the Cambodia–Thailand Joint Boundary Commission (JBC) to commence border demarcation as soon as possible. This action aligns strictly with existing frameworks, specifically the third point of the Joint Statement of the 3rd Special Meeting of the Cambodia–Thailand General Border Committee (GBC) dated December 27, 2025. Immediate demarcation remains vital to ensuring that displaced civilian can return to their homes without obstruction, in safety, and with dignity.
The Royal Government and the Ministry of National Defence of Cambodia reaffirm our firm, sincere, and unwavering commitment to fully and faithfully respect and implement the Joint Statement of the Third Special Meeting of the Cambodia–Thailand General Border Committee (GBC) on December 27, 2025, the Joint Declaration on the Peace Agreement between Cambodia and Thailand on October 26, 2025, and all other relevant agreements. This commitment is made with the aim of ensuring rapid recovery and restoring normalcy, and long-lasting peace and stability.
The public, as well as national and international journalists, are hereby informed of the facts regarding this matter.
