ក្រសួងការពារជាតិ នៃព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា ច្រានចោលទាំងស្រុងចំពោះការអះអាងខុសពីការពិតរបស់ភាគីថៃ ដែលថា ឯកឧត្តម នាយឧត្តមសេនីយ៍ ទៀ សីហា ឧបនាយករដ្ឋមន្រ្តី និងជារដ្ឋមន្រ្តី នៃក្រសួងការពារជាតិកម្ពុជា មានការពិភាក្សាក្រៅផ្លូវការជាមួយឯកឧត្តម នាយឧត្តមសេនីយ៍ ណាត់ថាផុល ណាកផានិច្ច អនុរដ្ឋមន្រ្តី និងជារដ្ឋមន្ត្រីស្តីទី នៃក្រសួងការពារជាតិថៃ និងបានព្រមព្រៀងឱ្យមានកិច្ចប្រជុំ GBC ដោយពេលនេះកំពុងជជែកលើលក្ខខណ្ឌមួយចំនួន ដើម្បីឱ្យមានការឯកភាពគ្នាជាមុនសិន។ ក្រសួងការពារជាតិកម្ពុជា សូមគូសបញ្ជាក់ថា ចាប់តាំងពីជំនួបរវាង ឯកឧត្តម នាយឧត្តមសេនីយ៍ ទៀ សីហា ឧបនាយករដ្ឋមន្រ្តី និងជារដ្ឋមន្រ្តី នៃក្រសួងការពារជាតិកម្ពុជា និងឯកឧត្តម Phumtham Wechayachai ឧបនាយករដ្ឋមន្រ្តី និងជាអតីតរដ្ឋមន្ត្រី នៃក្រសួងការពារជាតិថៃ កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៥ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ នៅខេត្តស្រះកែវ នោះមក ពុំមានជំនួបផ្លូវការ ឬក្រៅផ្លូវការណាមួយរវាងថ្នាក់ដឹកនាំរបស់ក្រសួងការពារជាតិទាំងពីរនោះឡើយ។
ក្នុងន័យនេះ ក្រសួងការពារជាតិ ក៏ដូចជាកងយោធពលខេមរភូមិន្ទ រក្សាជំហរច្បាស់លាស់ អនុវត្តដោយម៉ឺងម៉ាត់ និងការទទួលខុសត្រូវខ្ពស់ នូវរាល់ការសម្រេចចិត្ត និងបទបញ្ជាទាំងឡាយរបស់រាជរដ្ឋាភិបាលនៃព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា។ គួររំឮកផងដែរថា ស្ថានភាពកាន់តែអាក្រក់ និងតានតឹងឡើង ចាប់ពីថ្ងៃទី៧ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ គឺបង្កឡើងដោយកងទ័ពថៃ ដែលបានប្រើប្រាស់វិធានការបិទច្រកព្រំដែន និងកែប្រែពេលវេលានៃការបិទ-បើកច្រកព្រំដែនរវាងប្រទេសទាំងពីរជាឯកតោភាគី ដោយមិនបានគិតគូរអំពីផលប៉ះពាល់ដល់ការធ្វើដំណើរឆ្លងកាត់ និងជីវភាពរបស់ប្រជាជននៃប្រទេសទាំងពីរឡើយ។
ក្រសួងការពារជាតិកម្ពុជា ស្វាគមន៍ការលើកឡើងរបស់ ឯកឧត្តម នាយឧត្តមសេនីយ៍ ណាត់ថាផុល ណាកផានិច្ច ដែលបានសង្កត់ធ្ងន់ពីការផ្តល់តម្លៃ ការគោរពគ្នាទៅវិញទៅមកក្នុងនាមជាប្រទេសជិតខាងគ្នា និងបានបង្ហាញអំពីក្តីកង្វល់ពីសុខទុក្ខ និងបញ្ហាប្រឈមរបស់ប្រជាជនទាំងពីរដែលរស់នៅប្រកបរបរចិញ្ចឹមជីវិតនៅតាមតំបន់ព្រំដែន ដែលកើតចេញពីការបិទ-បើក និងការផ្លាស់ប្តូរម៉ោងពេលនៅតាមច្រកព្រំដែនដោយឯកតោភាគីរបស់យោធាថៃ។

Lieutenant General Maly Socheata, Under Secretary of State and Spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defense Kingdom of Cambodia provided clarification and reaffirmed Cambodia’s position in response to the recent remarks by H.E. General Natthaphon Narkphanit, Deputy Minister and Acting Minister of Defense of Thailand, made during an interview with Thai media regarding the GBC (General Border Committee) meeting and the Cambodia–Thailand border closure and reopening. The key points are as follows:
The Ministry of National Defense of the Kingdom of Cambodia categorically rejects the inaccurate claims made by the Thai side that H.E. General Tea Seiha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Kingdom of Cambodia, had unofficial discussions with H.E. General Natthaphon Narkphanit and had agreed to convene a GBC meeting, with certain conditions under discussion prior to mutual agreement.
The Ministry of National Defense Kingdom of Cambodia firmly clarifies that since the meeting between H.E. General Tea Seiha and H.E. Phumtham Wechayachai, Deputy Prime Minister and former Minister of Defense of Thailand, on June 5th, 2025, in Srah Keo Province, there has not been any official or unofficial meeting between the leadership of the two ministries.
In this regard, the Ministry of National Defense Kingdom of Cambodia and the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) maintain a clear stance, exercising strict discipline and high responsibility in the implementation of all decisions and orders of the Royal Government of Cambodia.
It is worth noting that the situation deteriorated and became tense starting on June 7th, 2025, due to actions by the Thai military, which unilaterally closed the border and modified the opening/closing times of the Cambodia–Thailand border crossings, without consideration of the impact on the movement and livelihoods of the people of both countries.
The Ministry of National Defense Kingdom of Cambodia welcomes the remarks made by H.E. General Natthaphon Narkphanit, who emphasized mutual respect between neighboring countries and expressed concern for the hardship and challenges faced by border populations whose livelihoods are affected by unilateral closure and timing changes imposed by the Thai military.
Regarding the reopening of the Cambodia–Thailand border crossings, Cambodia maintains its previous position: reopening depends solely on the Thai side’s willingness to restore border operations to the status prior to June 7th, 2025. The Cambodian side is ready to reopen all border crossings within five hours after such restoration by Thailand.
The Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) remain steadfast in supporting the decisions of the Royal Government of Cambodia. The Cambodian military is committed to maintaining peace, security, and stability along the border and to fostering strong neighborly relations for the mutual benefit of the people and the two countries.
